Five9 is seeking a skilled Senior OpenStack DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on managing and enhancing our cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance for our contact center solutions. You will play a critical part in our platform's evolution.

What you'll do

• Maintain and improve the OpenStack cloud environment.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure reliability.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application deployment and operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in DevOps or a related infrastructure engineering role.
• Proven experience with OpenStack administration and operations.
• Strong understanding of Linux operating systems.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud-native technologies and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of network infrastructure and security best practices.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
