Five9 is seeking a Senior Network DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining the network infrastructure that supports our cloud contact center solutions. You will play a crucial part in ensuring the reliability and performance of our services.

What you'll do

• Develop and manage network automation solutions to streamline operations and deployments.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain high availability.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate network services into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of scalable and secure network environments.
• Implement and maintain network security best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in network engineering and/or DevOps.
• Proficiency in network automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ansible).
• Experience with cloud networking concepts (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and other routing protocols.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

Nice to have

• Experience with network monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Nagios.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) principles and tools (e.g., Terraform).
