About the role

This position is responsible for ensuring the high availability and performance of Five9's global network and infrastructure. You will lead a team focused on maintaining and improving the reliability of our critical systems.

What you'll do

• Oversee the daily operations and strategic planning for network and infrastructure uptime.
• Manage and mentor a team of engineers dedicated to reliability and performance.
• Develop and implement strategies to prevent outages and minimize downtime.
• Drive improvements in monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure the scalability and stability of our services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in network and infrastructure management.
• At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or management role.
• Proven track record of improving system reliability and performance.
• Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking protocols, and distributed systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with Five9's core technologies.
• Advanced degree in a relevant technical field.
