Senior DevOps Engineer

Five9 is seeking a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role involves enhancing our cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines to support our growing contact center solutions. You will play a crucial part in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our services.

What you'll do

• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, focusing on scalability and performance.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployments.
• Implement and improve monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Contribute to infrastructure as code initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps or SRE role.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS.
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus or Grafana.

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and security best practices.
• Experience with database administration and management.
