Five9 is seeking a seasoned legal professional to join our team. This role will provide essential legal guidance and support for our business operations. You will be instrumental in navigating complex legal matters and ensuring compliance.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including software licenses, service agreements, and partnership contracts.
• Advise internal stakeholders on legal risks and compliance matters related to product development, sales, and marketing initiatives.
• Assist with corporate governance, securities law compliance, and other general corporate legal functions.
• Support the legal team in managing intellectual property matters and data privacy initiatives.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to at least one state bar.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on commercial transactions and corporate law.
• Experience with SaaS agreements and intellectual property law.

Nice to have

• Experience with public company reporting and SEC filings.
• Familiarity with data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.

Skills & tools

• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in legal research and writing.
