Senior Asset Development Engineer

This position involves creating and maintaining digital assets for our contact center solutions. You will contribute to the development of interactive voice response (IVR) and other conversational AI elements. Your work will directly impact the customer experience delivered through our platform.

What you'll do

• Design and build conversational flows for our Intelligent Virtual Agent (IVA) platform.
• Develop and refine speech recognition and natural language understanding components.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to implement new features.
• Test and validate asset performance, ensuring a high-quality user interaction.
• Document development processes and asset specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing IVR or chatbot applications.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript or Python.
• Experience with speech recognition and natural language processing technologies.
• Familiarity with contact center technologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with Five9's IVA platform.
• Knowledge of voice user interface (VUI) design principles.
