About the role
You will serve as the primary technical partner for high-stakes deals, guiding developers and companies through the evaluation and implementation of Firecrawl. This role requires you to architect solutions, execute proof of concept projects, and address complex technical inquiries to secure partnerships. You will report to the VP of Revenue and Success, bridging the gap between engineering capabilities and commercial objectives.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Manage the technical components of the sales process, including discovery, solution design, product demonstrations, and proof of concept development.
- Engage directly with customers to illustrate how Firecrawl addresses their specific data and AI infrastructure challenges.
- Resolve deep technical questions during the sales cycle and coordinate with the engineering team when necessary.
- Develop technical proposals and POCs that convert prospects into active users.
- Act as the technical voice of the customer, relaying product feedback to the internal engineering and product teams.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales engineering, solutions engineering, or a customer-facing technical role within a developer or API-focused company.
- Ability to read code, utilize APIs, and build functional proof of concept projects independently.
- Proficiency in communicating technical details to non-technical stakeholders while maintaining business value.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States or our eligible remote-hire regions.
