About the role
Fin is seeking a senior individual contributor to lead our competitive strategy and product marketing efforts. You will build our competitive intelligence function from the ground up, shaping the narratives and sales plays that define our market position. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical fluency, and hands-on content creation to ensure our field teams remain ahead of a rapidly evolving AI landscape.

What you'll do
- Establish and manage a sustainable, AI-driven competitive intelligence program in collaboration with Research and Solutions Engineering.
- Develop and maintain differentiation messaging against tier 1 competitors for use in campaigns and sales conversations.
- Create actionable sales assets, including battle cards and objection-handling guides, that translate market intelligence into wins.
- Analyze win/loss data, customer feedback, and market signals to influence product roadmap and go-to-market strategy.
- Build proactive sales plays that increase win rates and defend our market position.
- Evolve the function over time to encompass broader sales enablement and field strategy.
- Maintain a high standard for all product marketing assets and serve as the central source of competitive context for the organization.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in product marketing, competitive intelligence, or solutions marketing within a B2B SaaS environment.
- Proven track record of owning competitive strategy and building a compete function from scratch.
- Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, persuasive narratives for sales teams.
- Strong editorial judgment with the ability to write crisp, specific, and high-impact content.
- Technical understanding of AI across the model, application, and infrastructure layers.
- Hands-on experience using the product and digging into technical documentation to inform positioning.
- Demonstrated success in working directly with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to drive results.
