Senior IT Systems Engineer

About the role

Fin is hiring a Senior IT Systems Engineer to help shape and maintain corporate IT infrastructure with emphasis on identity and access management, email deliverability, and compliance. You will join an IT team focused on SaaS-based solutions and employee lifecycle automation. This position suits engineers from traditional systems or DevOps backgrounds who want to work in cloud-first environments, as well as those already specializing in identity management looking to grow within a fast-scaling engineering organization.

What you'll do

• Identify and resolve automation and integration challenges across teams and business units
• Design, build, and maintain automations and integrations that strengthen identity and access management, endpoint management, security, compliance, and enterprise email deliverability
• Participate in cross-functional projects to integrate and expand corporate IT infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code practices
• Promote automation and AI adoption through enablement and training to reduce manual work and support sustainable operations
• Evaluate and pilot early-stage AI tools and features to optimize internal processes
• Coordinate IT incident response alongside InfoSec and engineering teams
• Implement and manage no-code automation infrastructure using tools such as Tines and Workato

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach to identifying and addressing issues
• Demonstrated experience mentoring junior engineers and establishing team standards
• Working knowledge of at least one high-level programming language such as Ruby, Python, or Perl
• Experience building and operating systems in cloud environments without traditional network perimeters
• Familiarity with AWS, Okta, Google Workspace, Jamf Pro, Intune, Tines, and Workato

Nice to have

• Experience with iPaaS platforms
• Background in enterprise email deliverability
• Experience building scalable integrations between billing systems and an ERP, preferably NetSuite
