About the role
Fin is seeking a technical leader to bridge the gap between our AI Customer Agent and the business objectives of our most strategic clients. You will operate with high autonomy to design and implement custom solutions while influencing our product roadmap through direct field experience.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Drive the adoption of Fin by helping prospects automate and scale their support operations.
- Partner with strategic customers to identify technical requirements and build solutions that achieve their business goals.
- Write code alongside customer technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Collaborate with Sales, Success, and Product departments to provide actionable feedback and improve the customer experience.
- Mentor Forward Deployed Engineers and Solutions Engineers.
- Define and evolve the Forward Deployed Engineering function as the team scales.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a primary technical leadership role.
- Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language such as Python, JavaScript, or Ruby.
- Strong experience working with and writing REST APIs.
- Ability to quickly master new AI and machine learning concepts.
- Proven track record of autonomous decision-making and managing project outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both engineering and non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel and work on-site with customers.

- Experience building SaaS products.
- Background as a startup founder or early-stage engineer.
