Senior Finance Data Scientist at Fin.
About the role
You will design and manage the predictive systems that forecast revenue for Fin. This role involves building production-grade models that convert customer behavioral data into financial insights to guide leadership decisions.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain probabilistic and time-series models to project ARR, renewals, and usage-based revenue.
- Create propensity models to identify churn risks and expansion opportunities.
- Build and maintain automated data pipelines to transform raw billing and product usage data into curated datasets.
- Define and refine LTV frameworks to connect product engagement with financial results.
- Perform scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis to support NRR planning.
- Communicate complex statistical findings to the CFO and executive team through dashboards and presentations.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Data Science, Strategic Finance, or Revenue Analytics, specifically within SaaS or usage-based business models.
- Expert-level proficiency in SQL and high proficiency in Python, including pandas and scikit-learn.
- Experience designing scalable, code-based data pipelines rather than relying on manual spreadsheets.
- Deep understanding of SaaS metrics such as NRR, LTV, and churn.
- Ability to translate technical data into actionable business narratives.
- Proficiency with AI-native development tools like Cursor or Claude Code to speed up prototyping and documentation.

- Experience with forecasting libraries such as Prophet or Nixtla.
