About the role
Fin develops AI Customer Agents to automate service, sales, and ecommerce interactions for businesses. The Research, Analytics and Data Science team seeks a senior contributor to transform complex data into product strategy and actionable business insights.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define success metrics and measure product outcomes.
- Design and maintain data pipelines while refining existing tables.
- Conduct exploratory analysis to influence the product roadmap.
- Build scalable data products, dashboards, and internal tools to support stakeholder self-service.
- Use AI-assisted tools like Claude Code and Cursor to automate workflows and accelerate coding.
- Communicate quantitative findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience using data to drive evidence-based decisions.
- Proficiency in SQL and statistical analysis.
- Experience with a scientific computing language such as Python.
- Proven ability to deliver actionable insights with minimal supervision.
- Strong product intuition and business acumen.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
Nice to have
- Experience with data modeling and ETL tools, particularly dbt.
- Background in building internal tools or self-serve analytics platforms.
- Experience integrating AI tools across the full data lifecycle.
