About the role

Figure is building general-purpose autonomous humanoid robots. These robots are designed to perform a wide range of tasks in both home and business settings. You will help create the data foundation that powers these human-level intelligent robots.

What you'll do

• Lead daily data collection for your assigned shift, focusing on volume and quality targets.
• Manage the sequence and distribution of data capture tasks among Data Creators and workstations, adapting to changing priorities.
• Resolve immediate issues related to hardware, data capture, personnel, and facilities; escalate blocking problems that extend beyond your shift.
• Ensure continuous shift coverage by managing breaks, absences, and rotations to keep all capture stations operational.
• Conduct structured shift handovers, documenting production, pending tasks, and equipment status for the next shift.
• Uphold standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety/ergonomics guidelines on the operational floor.
• Collaborate with Project Coordinators and the Data Quality team to identify and resolve data creation issues.
• Report shift production, downtime, and recurring problems to unit leadership.

Requirements

• 1-2+ years in operations, production, logistics, or shift supervision, with experience guiding daily team execution.
• Experience coordinating people and priorities in real-time within a physical, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to make quick decisions with incomplete information and good judgment on when to escalate issues.
• Clear communication skills, capable of organized shift handovers and maintaining accurate shift records.
• Availability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends (with night differential pay).
• Professional English proficiency for SOPs, dashboards, and communications with US-based teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with robotics, autonomous systems, motion capture, or data for physical AI.
• Familiarity with motion capture hardware or wearable sensors.
• Experience in fast-growing startup operations.
• Prior experience in 24/7 or multi-shift operations.

Practical notes

Base salary: R$ 7,000 to R$ 10,000 per month. Benefits include transportation allowance, meal allowance, and health plan. Shifts are 6 AM to 3 PM (morning), 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM (afternoon), and 11 PM to 8 AM (night). Some flexibility for shift rotation may be required. Figure is establishing its first data operations unit in Brazil.
