About the role

This role focuses on evolving Figma's financial systems infrastructure to support automated and AI-driven planning. You will act as the primary owner of our financial planning platforms while collaborating across the company to improve data architecture and forecasting capabilities.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Lead transformational projects to standardize and automate business processes.
• Define and execute the strategy for embedding AI into financial workflows, reporting, and forecasting.
• Serve as the technical and functional administrator for Pigment, including training, maintenance, and development.
• Manage the end-to-end systems roadmap, including governance, resource allocation, and user acceptance testing.
• Design architecture for data flows and integrations that extend across the company data ecosystem.
• Partner with Data Science, Data Engineering, Accounting, and Operations to optimize financial forecasting and agentic tooling.
• Create dashboards and visualizations to track key performance indicators.
• Implement frameworks for change management and system controls.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in finance systems or roadmap execution.
• Technical expertise in system design, implementation, data architecture, and AI automation.
• Practical understanding of financial cycles and processes, including FP&A, P2P, O2C, and accounting operations.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously with strong project management skills.
• Proficiency in communicating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience with SQL.
• Background in data science.
• Experience overseeing external consultants or resources.
