About the role

Figma is seeking a technical product leader to oversee the Code area, which includes Code Context, Design to Code, Code to Design, and Code Platform. You will manage a team of product managers while driving the strategy for how design and code systems interact.

What you'll do

• Direct product strategy for the four teams within the Code area.
• Define the vision for syncing design and code, including end-to-end workflow management and quality measurement.
• Oversee the development of code-context systems and translation primitives to support agentic workflows and round-tripping.
• Manage and mentor three product managers and hire for an open product manager role.
• Collaborate with engineering, research, data, and design leadership to make technical product decisions.
• Establish operating cadences and drive adoption goals for MCP and design-to-code workflows.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience managing product managers, including hiring and talent development.
• Background in shipping developer tools and AI products, specifically involving model behavior evaluations, annotation pipelines, and ship/no-ship decision-making.
• Experience executing major initiatives within complex, ambiguous environments.
• History of working with enterprise customers to translate workflow needs into shipped products.
• Strong written communication skills and the ability to engage effectively in technical engineering reviews.
