About the role
Figma is seeking a technical product leader to oversee the Code area, which includes Code Context, Design to Code, Code to Design, and Code Platform. You will manage a team of product managers while driving the strategy for how design and code systems interact.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Direct product strategy for the four teams within the Code area.
- Define the vision for syncing design and code, including end-to-end workflow management and quality measurement.
- Oversee the development of code-context systems and translation primitives to support agentic workflows and round-tripping.
- Manage and mentor three product managers and hire for an open product manager role.
- Collaborate with engineering, research, data, and design leadership to make technical product decisions.
- Establish operating cadences and drive adoption goals for MCP and design-to-code workflows.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience managing product managers, including hiring and talent development.
- Background in shipping developer tools and AI products, specifically involving model behavior evaluations, annotation pipelines, and ship/no-ship decision-making.
- Experience executing major initiatives within complex, ambiguous environments.
- History of working with enterprise customers to translate workflow needs into shipped products.
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to engage effectively in technical engineering reviews.
