About the role

Figma is seeking a Manager, IT Operations to lead our New York team during a period of rapid organizational growth. You will oversee technical operations, manage team performance, and ensure our systems scale effectively to support our global workforce.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Lead and coach the New York IT Operations team and external contractors.
• Provide hands-on support for escalated technical issues and develop documentation for new systems.
• Build and maintain dashboards to track helpdesk metrics like CSAT and SLAs to drive performance improvements.
• Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks regarding lifecycle management, automations, and access requests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to address business needs and lead IT projects from start to finish.
• Manage hardware and software procurement to ensure alignment with budget and financial planning.

Requirements

• 5+ years of direct IT support experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership role managing IT professionals.
• Experience supporting remote teams across multiple offices and time zones.
• Ability to manage vendor relationships and contractor workforces.
• Proficiency in administering Okta, Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack, and JAMF.
• Strong communication and analytical skills for prioritizing tasks in complex environments.
