About the role

The Advocacy team at Figma builds community connections and represents the user perspective to improve our product. We are looking for a Designer Advocate to partner with our marketing, sales, and product departments to shape our market strategy and internal product development.

What you'll do

• Partner with sales and customer experience teams to help users master Figma workflows.
• Produce written, visual, and video content demonstrating modern design and production processes.
• Build relationships within the design community and support user-led initiatives.
• Represent Figma at conferences, meetups, and industry events.
• Gather community feedback and sentiment to influence internal product roadmaps.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience using Figma within professional product teams.
• Proven ability to manage design systems, tokens, and AI-assisted prototyping.
• Deep understanding of modern design-to-development workflows and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong public speaking and communication skills for explaining complex technical topics.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

• Background in developer handoff tools or code-connected design workflows.
