About the role
The Advocacy team at Figma builds community connections and represents the user perspective to improve our product. We are looking for a Designer Advocate to partner with our marketing, sales, and product departments to shape our market strategy and internal product development.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Partner with sales and customer experience teams to help users master Figma workflows.
- Produce written, visual, and video content demonstrating modern design and production processes.
- Build relationships within the design community and support user-led initiatives.
- Represent Figma at conferences, meetups, and industry events.
- Gather community feedback and sentiment to influence internal product roadmaps.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience using Figma within professional product teams.
- Proven ability to manage design systems, tokens, and AI-assisted prototyping.
- Deep understanding of modern design-to-development workflows and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong public speaking and communication skills for explaining complex technical topics.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
