Account Executive, Mid-Market

About the role

Figma is seeking a sales professional to drive revenue and manage Mid-Market accounts within the Australian market. You will engage with decision-makers to demonstrate the value of our design and collaboration platform while managing complex sales cycles.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain a sales pipeline using both inbound and outbound strategies to hit or exceed revenue goals.
• Use value-based selling to engage key stakeholders at companies with 500 to 2000 employees.
• Partner with executives to secure enterprise-wide adoption and align our product roadmap with long-term client goals.
• Develop account plans that identify priorities and enable multi-threading at the senior level.
• Manage your book of business by tiering accounts and implementing retention strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to advance deals and ensure client success.
• Represent the company at industry events, partner meetings, and executive engagements across the ANZ region.

Requirements

• Multi-year experience closing software or SaaS deals for companies with up to 2000 employees.
• Proven track record of meeting revenue and pipeline generation targets.
• Experience selling to technical leadership in engineering, product, and design departments.
• Ability to create territory plans and generate self-sourced pipeline through networking, referrals, and research.
• Experience managing complex sales cycles lasting between 3 and 9 months.
• Background in land-and-expand motions, including consolidation and enterprise adoption.
• Proficiency in a structured sales methodology.

Nice to have

• Adaptability in fast-paced or changing environments.
• Certification in deal qualification and prospect discovery.
