About the role

Field Ai develops autonomous robotic systems for sectors like mining, construction, and manufacturing. This position involves managing the deployment and operational support of our quadrupeds, rovers, and humanoid robots in real-world environments.

What you'll do

• Act as the main technical liaison for clients during the entire deployment and testing lifecycle.
• Create operational procedures, project timelines, and deployment strategies for robotic hardware.
• Manage cross-functional coordination between engineering, operations, and customer stakeholders.
• Supervise and operate advanced robots on-site in customer environments.
• Resolve hardware, software, networking, and autonomy issues during live operations.
• Analyze performance data from the field to provide actionable feedback to internal product teams.
• Lead status meetings, readiness assessments, and technical reviews with clients.
• Document deployment outcomes to help refine future product development.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience working with autonomous systems, drones, quadrupeds, or humanoid platforms.
• Background in managing customer-facing technical projects and stakeholder expectations.
• Ability to diagnose and fix complex technical problems in the field.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, or similar programming languages.
• Familiarity with robotic subsystems, sensors, embedded electronics, and networking.
• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to travel frequently for on-site customer work.
