About the role
Feedzai is a Series D company focused on preventing financial crime through advanced AI. This role sits within the Customer Success Engineering team, where you will act as a technical consultant to ensure our fraud analysis platform meets the unique architectural requirements of our global clients.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Consult with clients to define technical requirements and architectural strategies for custom integrations.
- Write high-quality, testable Java code to build custom extensions when standard configurations are insufficient.
- Diagnose complex integration and performance issues, providing code-level solutions to maintain system stability.
- Serve as a bridge between client business goals and technical execution.
- Advocate for engineering best practices to ensure custom solutions remain maintainable.
- Mentor team members and promote development standards.
- Provide Tier 2 support for active client accounts.
- Operate within Agile frameworks to deliver software solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master of Science in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Java software development.
- Proficiency in JVM memory management and thread handling for high-performance systems.
- Experience in client-facing roles with the ability to act as a technical consultant.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Nice to have
- Experience with Zookeeper, RabbitMQ, Cassandra, Ansible, and Docker.
- Familiarity with SQL, NoSQL, and cloud environments including AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Practical notes
Feedzai operates with a flexible remote work policy. If you are located near an office, you may choose between being primarily office-based, flexible (2-3 days per week), or primarily remote (1-2 days per month). Full remote options are available for those not near a global office. The company provides an annual training budget for professional development. Applications are retained for 24 months.
