About the role
Faculty is looking for a senior designer to join the Frontier team, which builds intelligent decision systems for high-stakes industries like life sciences. You will define how humans and AI agents collaborate on complex clinical development decisions, moving beyond standard chat interfaces to create functional, high-trust environments.

What you'll do
- Design interaction patterns that support human-agent collaboration within decision-making loops.
- Simplify dense analytical data so expert users can evaluate, challenge, and act on information with confidence.
- Develop and maintain a shared design system to ensure product consistency as the team scales.
- Collaborate directly with engineers from the initial problem-framing stage through to final delivery.
- Set high standards for design craft through personal contribution, team critique, and mentorship.
Requirements
- Experience shipping complex software for expert users in high-consequence domains.
- Ability to manage the full design lifecycle, from high-level strategy to pixel-perfect execution.
- Practical experience working with AI or non-deterministic systems.
- Willingness and ability to prototype using code.
- A direct, collaborative communication style that prioritizes team outcomes over individual ego.
