Senior Product Designer

About the role

Faculty is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our Energy, Transition and Environment team. You will craft AI-native solutions for clients in the clean energy sector while collaborating with engineers and data scientists to solve complex technical challenges.

What you'll do

• Design high-impact user interfaces that adhere to strict accessibility and inclusion standards.
• Manage user research initiatives to gather insights that inform product strategy.
• Produce wireframes, prototypes, and final designs for difficult technical problems.
• Maintain and improve the internal design system while guiding engineers on its application.
• Present design decisions to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Drive iterative design cycles, including testing and validation to improve usability.

Requirements

• Proven background designing AI-native products.
• Experience shipping products at scale.
• Ability to influence product direction and strategy.
• History of contributing to design systems and promoting best practices.
• Expertise in leading iterative design processes.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to facilitate cross-functional teamwork.
• Advanced proficiency in design tools and methods, including the use of AI tools.

Practical notes

The interview process consists of a 40-minute talent screen, a 60-minute portfolio review, a 60-minute case study interview, and a 30-minute meeting with the team.
