About the role
This role focuses on empowering our sales team to effectively communicate the value of Exa's search engine for AI. You will bridge the gap between product development and sales execution, ensuring every seller is equipped with the knowledge and tools to succeed. Your work will directly impact sales effectiveness and product adoption.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain core sales materials, including presentations, demo narratives, one-pagers, and technical validation documents.
- Create and update competitive battlecards and objection handling guides based on market shifts and win/loss analysis.
- Design and implement sales onboarding and certification programs for new account executives and sales engineers.
- Lead enablement efforts for all new product launches, ensuring the sales team is prepared to generate pipeline from day one.
- Manage the organization and lifecycle of enablement content, ensuring its relevance and accessibility for the sales team.
- Implement AI-driven workflows to automate content updates, competitive monitoring, and call analysis for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in product marketing, sales enablement, or a combination of both within a B2B technology company selling to technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to create and drive adoption of sales pitches, decks, or battlecards.
- Technical understanding sufficient to discuss APIs, retrieval, and agent architectures with developers and earn the trust of sales teams.
- Experience developing competitive positioning informed by actual win/loss data.
- Proven track record of designing and running sales onboarding or certification programs that reduced ramp-up time.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for teaching and documentation.
- Experience building and deploying automations using large language models and workflow tools.
Nice to have
- Prior experience as a sales engineer, solutions architect, or engineer.
- Background at a developer-first, API-first, or product-led growth company.
- Familiarity with call recording and revenue intelligence software.
- Experience enabling technical sales processes involving proof-of-concept or evaluation cycles.
- Knowledge of the AI infrastructure landscape and how technical buyers assess it.
