About the role

Everstar is hiring a Technical Lead to join our R&D division focused on developing combat-ready drone technology. You will oversee the end-to-end creation of FPV systems that are deployed directly to the front lines. This role involves scaling our technical processes and ensuring our hardware solutions provide a decisive advantage in the field.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Design system architecture covering hardware, software, and integration components.
• Define technical specifications including aerodynamics, navigation, stabilization, power management, and communication protocols.
• Manage and execute prototype testing through both flight simulations and live field trials.
• Evaluate test data to refine performance and reliability of UAV units.
• Facilitate collaboration between hardware, software, and manufacturing departments.
• Lead and mentor the technical engineering team.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in UAV development.
• Proficiency with ArduPilot or similar autopilot systems.
• Proven background in leading technical teams or managing engineering projects.
• Experience using CAD software for mechanical component design.
• Practical skills with prototyping tools and flight simulation software.
