Key facts
What you'll do
Conduct functional, non-functional, and regression testing on imaging and optical systems.
Perform laboratory and field trials, including testing cameras in controlled environments and outdoor test ranges.
Pilot drones to evaluate video camera performance during flight operations.
Maintain comprehensive test documentation, including analyzing requirements, creating and updating checklists, test cases, and test plans, and reporting defects.
Collaborate closely with engineers, developers, hardware specialists, and prototyping teams.
Requirements
Experience piloting unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
Solid understanding of fundamental QA principles, methods, and processes.
Basic knowledge of electronics, physics, circuit design, and programming concepts.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and logically.
Eagerness to learn quickly, embrace constructive feedback, and improve from mistakes.
A meticulous attention to detail and a systematic approach to problem-solving.
