EverOps addresses this need by embedding alongside client teams to assess and resolve delivery and service-related challenges. The role demands a high degree of autonomy and ownership, as you will be responsible for driving identity and access management initiatives from configuration through production support. You will act as the technical authority on IAM topics for your assigned client engagements, ensuring that implementations are robust, secure, and aligned with business objectives. Success requires a proactive mindset and the ability to anticipate potential integration hurdles before they impact delivery timelines. Ultimately, your work will directly influence the stability and security posture of enterprise SaaS environments.

What you'll do
- Interpret and execute the technical scope for without deviating from established parameters.
- Adhere strictly to the scope Requirements outlined for every engagement to ensure alignment with client expectations.
- Satisfy the Practical notes and operational standards that govern day-to-day responsibilities within the virtual operating center.
- Configure SAML 2.0 and OIDC Single Sign-On integrations end-to-end while coordinating technically with external vendors and internal teams.
- Implement SCIM 2.0 provisioning workflows and configure group-based Role-Based Access Control policies inside the Okta tenant environment.
- Construct and synchronize target application groups via the internal IAM portal to maintain accurate and current identity structures.
- Apply Terraform to deploy Okta application configurations, including SAML/OIDC applications and group patterns, within a shared Infrastructure as Code repository.
- Oversee daily access operations, managing the full provisioning and deprovisioning lifecycle along with URI and attribute adjustments.
- Draft, present, and follow through on Change Advisory Board tickets for all production-level modifications to ensure compliance.
- Translate intricate identity architecture concepts into clear, actionable instructions for non-technical stakeholders during implementation phases.
- Maintain security boundaries rigorously while preserving the agility required to support high-volume SaaS integration pipelines.
- Guide application owners and business stakeholders who lack deep IAM expertise through implementation details patiently and methodically.
- Balance a high volume of support tickets and multiple concurrent integration projects without compromising quality or deadlines.
- Uphold a customer-focused approach that prioritizes task completion and prevents stalled integrations across the technology stack.
Requirements
- Bring two to four years of dedicated Okta administration experience within corporate or enterprise settings to the role.
- Demonstrate hands-on configuration experience with SAML, OIDC, and SCIM protocols that is practical, not theoretical.
- Develop the capability to manage a high volume of tickets while balancing multiple concurrent integration projects effectively.
- Communicate complex identity architecture ideas clearly and translate them into simple, actionable steps for non-technical stakeholders without frustration.
- Operate with comfort and familiarity within formal CAB and change management frameworks during execution.
- Exhibit a customer-focused mindset that ensures task completion and avoids stalled integrations under all circumstances.
- Meet the eligibility bar of operating within a U.S.-Based Virtual Operating Center while adhering to remote work protocols.
- Accept the compensation structure of $140,000 to $180,000 USD on an annual basis as part of the full-time engagement terms.

- Leverage prior experience with Terraform, specifically the Okta provider, to accelerate your onboarding within this environment.
