Key facts

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain complex full-stack systems.
• Work with product managers and other engineers to bring new features to life.
• Design and build our application programming interfaces.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Participate in code reviews and share best practices.
• Draft technical documentation for engineering requirements.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in software engineering.
• Experience with full-stack development using Javascript, Typescript, Node, or Python.
• Proficient in software engineering principles like design patterns, code reviews, and testing.
• Ability to clearly explain technical concepts verbally and in writing.
• Understanding of common security threats and defenses.
• Experience with feature flagging or A/B testing platforms.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and React.
• Knowledge of mobile-first responsive design.
• Experience building large-scale web application architectures.
• Proficiency in using AI coding assistants like Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot.
• Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
• Knowledge of build system configurations, such as Webpack.
• Experience with distributed systems and deploying applications in high-scale environments.

Nice to have

• Experience optimizing Core Web Vitals and page load speed.
• Experience integrating with third-party communication platforms like Iterable, Twilio, Salesforce, or Regal.

Practical notes

• US national base salary range: $96,000 - $169,000.
• Compensation is based on role, level, location, skills, experience, and education.
• Salary range reflects base salary only; bonus, equity, or benefits are separate.
