About the role

We are seeking an experienced product manager to join our Consumer Product team. This group focuses on creating an excellent digital journey for users, from their initial engagement to finding and purchasing the right life insurance to safeguard their families.

What you'll do

• Shape user experiences that reach millions of individuals exploring insurance online, with a focus on data-driven improvements and conversion rate optimization.
• Guide consumers through understanding their life insurance needs and selecting appropriate coverage levels.
• Streamline the application process to reduce friction and encourage completion.
• Contribute to bringing new insurance products, such as Indexed Universal Life and Whole Life, to market.
• Develop intuitive and accessible end-to-end customer journeys.

Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of overall experience in the technology sector.
• At least 5 years of experience as a product manager in a rapidly growing tech company, with a history of building consumer-facing products.
• The ability to formulate, test, and refine hypotheses using data, user feedback, and market understanding to inform product direction.
• Proficiency in translating concepts into practical plans and user-centered designs, employing rapid prototyping and iterative feedback.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-informed decision-making and measuring outcomes.
• Experience working collaboratively with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams.
• A drive to set ambitious targets, prioritize effectively, navigate challenges, and execute with precision.
• A proven history of addressing complex customer issues and contributing to business expansion.

Nice to have

• Experience with self-serve analytics tools like SQL and Amplitude, and using product analytics for in-depth analysis.

• The national base salary range for this full-time position in the US is $147,000 to $293,000. Compensation is determined by role, level, and location, and individual pay is influenced by work location, skills, experience, and education.
