About the role

Ethos Life is seeking a product leader to guide the development of our consumer-facing digital experience. This role involves shaping the strategy and execution for how users discover, understand, and purchase life insurance. You will lead a team of product managers to create an intuitive and valuable journey for our customers.

What you'll do

• Guide a team of product managers, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Define and advance the long-term product vision and roadmap for consumer-facing products, aligning with company objectives.
• Oversee the entire user journey from initial engagement through purchase and setup, aiming to enhance conversion and satisfaction.
• Drive product initiatives by identifying opportunities, developing hypotheses, and using data to inform decisions.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, data science, and marketing to ensure successful product delivery.
• Communicate product strategy and performance to executive leadership and across the organization.

Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years in product management at a fast-paced technology company, with a focus on consumer products at scale.
• At least 3 years of experience managing and developing product managers, demonstrating success in building effective teams.
• Proven ability to develop product strategies and translate them into actionable roadmaps and iterative improvements.
• Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making, with experience using tools like SQL and Amplitude.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the capacity to work effectively across different departments and seniority levels.
• Experience in solving complex customer problems and driving business growth.

• Experience in fintech, insurtech, or other regulated consumer industries.

• US national base salary range: $184,000 - $324,000.
• Compensation is based on role, level, and location.
• Salary range reflects new hire targets across all US locations.
• Individual pay determined by work location, skills, experience, and education.
• Compensation listed is base salary only; does not include bonus, equity, or benefits.
