Web Developer

About the role

EPI Networking is hiring a Full Stack Developer to support our internal engineering team. You will work directly with our technical lead to manage and improve our proprietary SPEX ERP and CRM platform.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Build and refine features for the SPEX ERP to improve usability for internal staff.
• Construct ETL pipelines using PHP and MySQL to support analytics and data warehousing.
• Create backend services and API integrations via Laravel.
• Design responsive frontend interfaces for dashboards using Vue.js and Bootstrap.
• Manage MySQL data models and assist with SQL Server and SSIS integrations.
• Resolve performance issues, security gaps, and system errors.
• Coordinate with internal departments to define requirements and manage agile development cycles.
• Maintain technical documentation for APIs, system architecture, and deployment workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Fluency in at least one programming language and one SQL dialect.
• Working knowledge of PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and Git.
• Practical experience with relational database management and data warehousing.
• Familiarity with automated testing and CI/CD deployment processes.
• Ability to own projects from initial concept to final delivery.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of experience with PHP and Laravel.
• 3+ years of experience with MySQL schema design and performance tuning.
• 3+ years of experience with Vue.js or similar JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience working with SQL Server and SSIS.
