About the role
Enable provides an intelligent platform that manages pricing and rebates to improve profitability and simplify complex financial processes. Following our 2025 acquisition of Flintfox and $291M in total funding, we are looking for a senior engineer to help scale our flagship product. You will join a team focused on high-quality software engineering, taking ownership of the full development lifecycle from design to production.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Design, build, test, and deploy software while maintaining application health and security.
- Engage in pair programming and conduct peer code reviews to maintain high standards.
- Lead technical discussions and ceremonies while mentoring team members.
- Collaborate across departments, including Product Management and Platform teams, to solve complex technical challenges.
- Use customer data and insights to balance feature delivery with long-term business goals.
- Manage continuous integration and automated production deployments.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least two programming languages, including one compiled object-oriented language and one scripting language.
- Experience with architecture design, specifically microservices, event-driven systems, or vertical slices.
- Working knowledge of front-end frameworks such as Angular, Blazor, React, or Typescript.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, including GIT, CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Octopus, and infrastructure as code.
- Hands-on experience with Docker or Kubernetes.
- Experience with messaging brokers such as RabbitMQ or Azure Service Bus.
Nice to have
- Professional experience with C# .NET.
- Experience with SQL Server, Cosmos, Aurora, Postgres, MongoDB, or Cassandra, particularly at an enterprise scale.
- Knowledge of web performance optimization, including HTTP/2, CDNs, caching, and load balancers.
- Experience with Azure cloud hosting, though AWS or GCP backgrounds are acceptable.
- Background in big data processing using tools like Kafka, Spark, Databricks, Snowflake, Data Lakes, or parallel processing systems.
