About the role

The Principal in Marketing Data Science will establish the foundational algorithms and machine learning frameworks that transform Empower's marketing data into predictive systems that enhance growth. This position is responsible for creating and developing attribution models, AI-driven learning systems, and the algorithmic infrastructure necessary for processing and utilizing marketing data on a large scale. While traditional analytics and reporting are part of the role, the primary focus will be on hands-on model development.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in creating attribution models, machine learning systems, or algorithmic data products in complex marketing environments, with direct involvement in model development.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in data science, statistics, computer science, applied mathematics, or a related quantitative field; an advanced degree in a relevant discipline is advantageous.
• Demonstrated success in building and deploying models in production marketing environments, leading to measurable improvements in campaign performance or business results.
• Experience in regulated sectors such as healthcare or financial services is preferred, particularly where data privacy and compliance influence technical choices.
