Accounts Receivable Intern

About the role

Join the global leader in the direct-to-consumer sleep industry to help refine our financial operations. You will work alongside our accounting team to improve processes and ensure our accounts receivable functions run efficiently.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Assist the AR Lead with daily accounting tasks, process standardization, and performance tracking.
• Evaluate D2C process data to spot trends, gaps, and areas for improvement.
• Work with cross-functional partners to influence and track performance metrics.
• Perform root cause analysis on recurring issues and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Update documentation, including AR standards, work instructions, and training guides.
• Oversee daily operational requirements and monitor attendance for outsourced staff.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Ability to work from the office at least two days per week.
• Minimum commitment of 6 months to the internship.
• Strong analytical skills and an intuitive approach to data.
• Proven ability to manage tasks to completion within deadlines.
• Creative problem-solving mindset.
• Proactive communication style when working with peers and stakeholders.
• Experience or interest in process mapping and technical writing.
• High level of motivation to develop professional skills.
