Senior Writer/Analyst, Ad Tech & AI Briefings at EMARKETER.
About the role
EMARKETER is seeking a high-profile industry authority to lead content for our premium subscription newsletters covering ad tech, AI, and marketing. You will translate complex market data into actionable insights for an executive audience while serving as a subject matter expert across industry events and media.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Write and produce approximately 10 articles per week for daily newsletters focused on the intersection of tech, AI, and advertising.
- Analyze programmatic transactions, ad measurement, consumer data, and emerging trends like CTV, AR/VR, and wearables.
- Create data-backed charts and graphics to support your analysis and storytelling.
- Produce 5 to 6 deep-dive reports annually for our client base.
- Represent the company as a thought leader at conferences, webinars, and in media appearances.
- Provide peer feedback to other analysts and participate in sales calls or sponsored presentations as needed.
Requirements
- Professional background in advertising or ad tech, such as market research, data-driven journalism, or consulting.
- Ability to meet daily deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with public speaking, including client presentations, webinars, or industry events.
- Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- Must be within commuting distance of the New York City office.

- Experience in identifying untapped coverage areas and piloting new content formats.
Skills & tools
- Expertise in writing, data comparison, and analysis.
- Proficiency in creating story-driven, visual presentations.
- Ability to synthesize large datasets into concise business insights.
