Senior Director, Content Analytics and Special Projects at EMARKETER.
About the role
This position leads strategic initiatives to modernize research infrastructure and content analytics. You will work across teams to improve the systems and data workflows that support our research products.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Modernize forecasting data structures and operational workflows in collaboration with Product, Technology, and Data teams.
- Align cross-functional stakeholders to manage priorities and drive projects to completion.
- Analyze forecasting methodologies to improve scalability and transparency.
- Prototype new solutions for centralized data management and system reconciliation.
- Lead special projects focused on how research data is collected and utilized.
- Define and track content performance KPIs to inform business strategy and resource allocation.
- Build dashboards to make content performance data accessible to leadership.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, data products, consulting, or market research.
- Bachelor degree in a quantitative, analytical, or technical field.
- Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of implementing solutions in ambiguous environments.
- Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Must be within commuting distance of the New York City office.
Nice to have
- Experience in a media, market intelligence, or top-tier consulting firm.
Skills & tools
- SQL proficiency and experience with data platforms like Snowflake, BigQuery, or PostgreSQL.
- Dashboarding and reporting tools such as Tableau, Sigma, Looker, or Power BI.
- Working knowledge of Python for automation or prototyping.
- Familiarity with APIs and structured data (JSON, CSV).
- Experience using AI tools for analysis and process automation.
Practical notes
- Salary: $160,000 to $180,000 per year.
