About the role
EMARKETER is seeking a high-profile industry authority to lead daily editorial coverage for our premium Marketing, Media, and Ad Tech newsletters. You will manage a team of analysts, set the strategic direction for our briefings, and serve as a primary voice for the brand across media and industry events.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Lead and mentor a team of analysts to produce daily, high-impact newsletters.
- Write daily articles, reports, and presentations on industry challenges.
- Act as the final editorial authority for all published content.
- Create data-driven charts and visualizations to support analysis.
- Represent the company at industry events, on social media, and in news outlets.
- Collaborate with product, sales, and data teams to improve content strategy using engagement metrics.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in editorial or research leadership within business intelligence or digital publishing.
- Proven ability to write authoritative content on marketing, media, or ad tech in a high-velocity environment.
- Deep understanding of the intersection between marketing, media, and generative AI.
- Experience coaching content contributors through direct feedback.
- Public speaking experience, including webinars, client presentations, or media appearances.
- Ability to interpret complex datasets and translate them into cohesive stories.
- Experience using engagement data like open rates and CTR to inform strategy.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- Must be within commuting distance of the New York City office.
