About the role

Ema is hiring a Tech Recruiter to manage full-cycle hiring for engineering and product teams. You will work directly with hiring managers, founders, and cross-functional partners to source top technical talent, refine recruiting workflows, and deliver a strong candidate experience. This position calls for someone who can move quickly while maintaining hiring standards.

What you'll do

• Handle the complete recruiting process from role intake through sourcing, screening, interview scheduling, offer negotiation, and onboarding support
• Manage open positions across multiple levels and disciplines including Backend, Frontend, Full Stack, Mobile, Data, ML, DevOps, and QA
• Lead structured intake sessions and align hiring plans with stakeholders
• Develop proactive talent pipelines through LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, job boards, communities, and referrals
• Create targeted sourcing approaches for specialized and in-demand technical skills
• Provide weekly pipeline updates and maintain consistent candidate flow
• Collaborate with hiring managers on role definitions, scorecards, and interview structures
• Guide offer discussions and closing strategies
• Track funnel metrics such as conversion rates, time-to-fill, and source performance
• Keep ATS records accurate and ensure reporting compliance

Requirements

• 5+ years of recruiting experience with a strong emphasis on technical hiring
• Demonstrated success filling engineering roles, ideally in a startup or high-growth setting
• Measurable results sourcing and converting passive candidates
• Ability to manage and influence hiring stakeholders effectively
• Solid grasp of technical roles, required skill sets, and current hiring market conditions
• Hands-on experience with ATS platforms such as Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, or Zoho Recruit and sourcing tools

Nice to have

• Background hiring for AI/ML, Data Science, Cloud, or Security positions
• Experience recruiting across multiple geographies or globally
• Track record building recruiting processes from the ground up or scaling teams rapidly
• Prior collaboration with founders or executive leadership
