Specialist, SAP Master Data

About the role

Elfbeauty is looking for a data steward to maintain the integrity and accessibility of our SAP master data assets. You will collaborate with our operations, supply chain, and IT departments to manage the full data lifecycle and resolve quality issues. This role focuses on curating data, establishing governance policies, and improving system workflows to support our growing multi-brand portfolio.

What you'll do

• Define and implement quality assurance and reporting processes for data collection.
• Coordinate with the PLM Master Data Steward to generate SAP-specific master data.
• Detect, investigate, and fix the root causes of data quality problems to prevent future errors.
• Develop and refine master data governance policies and scalable operational workflows.
• Provide training and communication to internal data owners to promote best practices.
• Manage data requirements for system updates, integrations, and model changes from initial scope to user acceptance testing.
• Propose and test automation solutions to streamline master data management.
• Ensure all data activities align with company governance policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree.
• 2 to 4 years of professional experience managing SAP Material Master Data.
• Proven ability to spot process gaps and implement effective improvements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of analytical capability, attention to detail, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines across different departments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• Experience with Centric or other PLM systems.
• Background in the beauty industry, retail, or product lifecycle management.
• Prior involvement in system implementations.

Practical notes

• Working hours are 4:30 PM to 1:30 AM IST.
• Compensation includes competitive pay, bonus eligibility (200 percent of target over the last four fiscal years), and equity.
• The company offers a hybrid work environment of 3 days in office and 2 days at home for full-time employees.
