Sr Analyst, System Planning

About the role

This role is central to ensuring planning information flows accurately and efficiently across e.l.f. Beauty's systems. You will be instrumental in supporting a new, integrated planning platform that serves multiple brands.

What you'll do

• Manage the entire lifecycle of planning data, understanding demand and supply processes to define data requirements across Lyric, Snowflake, and SAP S/4.
• Collaborate with the external vendor team responsible for the Lyric data model and its integrations, ensuring planning data transfers correctly between systems.
• Develop a functional understanding of SAP planning to confirm data accuracy, including planned independent requirements for MRP and order allocations.
• Work closely with integration specialists and data teams to maintain reliable data flows, including weekly forecast uploads into SAP S/4.
• Provide hands-on support for planning processes from the SAP perspective.
• Assist in the expansion of the planning platform to support e.l.f., Rhode, and Naturium brands.
• Investigate and resolve planning data issues, identifying root causes and implementing lasting solutions.
• Document data models, integration points, and operational procedures to retain internal knowledge.

Requirements

• A strong foundation in planning processes such as demand, supply, or inventory planning, with an interest in inter-system data movement.
• A working comprehension of SAP planning functionalities, including demand management, MRP, planned independent requirements, allocations, and associated master data. You should understand SAP's data input and output expectations for planning.
• Proficiency in data analysis, including reading data models, writing and interpreting SQL queries, and mapping data between different systems.
• Familiarity with integration methods like file transfers, APIs, and middleware platforms such as SAP CPI.
• Experience with cloud data platforms.
• A proactive and inquisitive approach to learning new technologies and becoming an expert.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud data and integration tools relevant to our technology stack.
• Prior involvement in the beauty or consumer goods industries.
• Previous experience with planning software like Lyric, o9, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, or SAP IBP.

• Total compensation includes competitive pay, benefits, bonus eligibility (target 200% of target over the last four fiscal years), and equity.
• Work environment is hybrid, with 3 days in office and 2 days remote.
