About the role
Elfbeauty is looking for a detail-oriented professional to manage the General Ledger for our UK operations. You will ensure financial accuracy and regulatory compliance while supporting our multi-brand portfolio, which includes e.l.f. Cosmetics, e.l.f. SKIN, Well People, Naturium, and rhode skin.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Execute month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entry preparation and review.
- Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Manage the fixed asset register, covering disposals, depreciation, and capitalization.
- Approve bank, credit card, and intercompany reconciliations.
- Supervise employee expense reporting, PO workflows, and Concur administration.
- Coordinate with external auditors to provide documentation and support for UK statutory audits.
- Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP.
- Develop cash flow forecasts to assist with financial planning.
- Mentor junior staff, assign workloads, and oversee onboarding.
- Implement process improvements to increase reporting efficiency.
Requirements
- Qualified Accountant status (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- 8 to 10 years of progressive experience in General Ledger accounting and statutory reporting.
- Mandatory expertise in UK GAAP.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with ERP systems like SAP and expense tools such as Concur.
- Ability to work in a hybrid model (3 days in office, 2 days at home).

Practical notes
Total compensation includes base salary, equity, and an annual performance bonus. The company has a history of paying out up to 200% of the target bonus based on performance.
