Senior C++ UI Software Engineer at Egym.
About the role
Join our Machine Software Realm in Munich to develop the interfaces for our smart strength training equipment. You will help improve the training experience for over 1 million global users by building reliable, intuitive software that powers our gym floor hardware.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Write high-quality code using C++ and technologies including Qt/QML, agentic AI, Docker, CMake, and Conan.
- Manage the full development lifecycle from architecture and business logic to testing, documentation, and deployment.
- Work within a Product Trio consisting of Product, Design, and Engineering to ship features for our fitness ecosystem.
- Coordinate with firmware, sports science, Cloud, and site reliability teams.
- Participate in a service duty rotation to resolve field issues.
- Mentor team members and contribute to the evolution of our internal software technology.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in modern C++.
- Proven ability to design maintainable application and business logic structures.
- Experience with software engineering practices such as CI/CD, automation, and agentic AI.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and translate them into technical solutions.
- Commitment to high standards for documentation, Git commits, and testing.
- Experience working in a Product Trio setup.
Nice to have
- Professional expertise in UI development, specifically with Qt/QML.
- Experience with backend development, specifically Golang.
- Familiarity with domain-driven design and various software architecture patterns.
