About the role
Join Egym as an AI Integration Engineer to build the core infrastructure for AI adoption. You will transform high-impact AI applications into secure, reliable, and production-ready systems. This role is crucial for Egym's transition to an AI-native company, focusing on applied AI and agentic workflow automation.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Design and build AI-powered proof-of-concepts for internal use cases, then transition successful ones to production.
- Implement LLM-based workflows, including RAG systems and intelligent automations, using internal MCP servers.
- Integrate AI solutions into existing enterprise systems like Google Workspace, Slack, ERP, and CRM, managing authentication and access.
- Translate use cases into technical architectures, considering hosting, security, and long-term operation.
- Deploy and manage solutions on Google Cloud, utilizing services such as Cloud Run, Secret Manager, and Identity and Access Management, while managing costs.
- Collaborate with IT and Security to ensure compliance and meet review requirements, respecting data ownership and access controls.
- Develop successful prototypes into stable internal tools with proper deployment, hosting, version control, and CI/CD.
- Support teams in hardening prototypes into production-ready applications with robust architecture, security, testing, and scalable deployment.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on software engineering experience, comfortable with owning code from prototype to production.
- Practical experience building LLM-based systems like MCP Servers, RAG pipelines, or agentic workflows, with at least one running in a real environment.
- Working knowledge of a major cloud platform, with Google Cloud preferred, and a strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and data security.
- Fluency in Python, Java, or similar languages, and familiarity with the common AI tooling ecosystem, capable of integrating across enterprise APIs.
- A pragmatic, product-focused approach centered on user impact.
- Strong communication skills in English, able to explain technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience with multi-agent frameworks like CrewAI and low-code platforms such as Dataleap or n8n.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, observability, and reliability practices for AI or data systems.
