About the role
ECLARO is seeking a PI Developer to join our client in White Plains, NY, who is a leading entity in the energy sector. This position involves enhancing the PI interfaces across various sites and contributing to the Agile Lab PI implementation project.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Upgrade and maintain approximately 200 PI interfaces currently operating on legacy versions.
- Develop monitoring capabilities within the PI Asset framework to provide insights on interfaces, buffers, data points, archives, AF, and Vision.
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure smooth operations and project success.
- Provide production support and address user concerns related to system performance and functionality.
Requirements
- A minimum of six years of experience with applications such as AVEVA/OSI PI, Client Smart Signal, Eta PRO, and Client APM.
- Proficient in Windows Server 2003/2008/2012 with a strong technical understanding of operating systems.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, and user rights management, including NTFS permissions.
- Experience in system debugging and troubleshooting software and system issues.
- Proven track record in system configuration, change management, and testing activities.
- Ability to monitor performance metrics and recommend corrective actions as needed.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with Digital Oil Field applications such as IFM and IVM, Matrikon OPC, OPC UA/DA, RTACs, and Data Historians.
Skills & tools
- Proficient in standard application development, reporting, and project management tools.
- Technical knowledge of all phases of software implementation and support.
- Ability to deploy solutions to operational production environments.
Practical notes
Pay Rate: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
