EarnIn is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to build and maintain the core infrastructure that empowers our product teams. This role focuses on developing intelligent, automated systems that enhance developer velocity and platform reliability. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of our platform by integrating AI-driven solutions.

What you'll do

Design, build, and manage AI agents for production use, adhering to governance and safety standards.

Implement agentic patterns for cloud infrastructure, contributing to team best practices and mentoring others.

Operate and enhance high-availability distributed systems on AWS, using AI-driven observability to proactively identify issues.

Contribute to the evolution of our developer control plane, enabling self-service features through natural language.

Document system architecture, operational procedures, and best practices, participating in on-call rotations to improve reliability.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

A minimum of 4 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, focusing on large-scale, highly available distributed systems.

Proven experience mentoring junior engineers and leading platform initiatives.

Hands-on experience building and operating AI-driven systems in production, including agentic workflows for operational tasks.

Demonstrated experience reducing operational overhead through agentic AI in at least one significant workflow.

Strong working knowledge of AWS, including EKS, Lambda, and Bedrock, with experience in containerized and serverless architectures.

Solid expertise in Kubernetes at scale.

Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Ansible.

Strong command of Datadog and observability practices.

Experience with LLM orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, or custom agentic architectures.

Strong coding ability in Python and/or Go.

Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, product, and security teams.

Nice to have

Experience with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot or Cursor.

Experience with service mesh technologies like Linkerd or Istio.

Proficiency with GitOps tools like Argo CD or Flux CD, and CI/CD orchestration like GitHub Actions or Argo Workflows.

Experience with MLOps or LLMOps concepts.

Familiarity with security frameworks relevant to AI systems.

This role is hybrid in Mexico City, with remote options available within Mexico.
