About the role
EarnIn is seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage payroll operations and related accounting tasks for our domestic and international entities. You will ensure regulatory compliance, handle account reconciliations, and drive process improvements within our growing finance team.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Manage the preparation and execution of domestic and global payroll cycles.
- Oversee payroll-related records, including employee deductions and time tracking data.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for staff questions regarding pay, time reporting, and withholdings.
- Perform account reconciliations and generate journal entries for payroll and accruals.
- Partner with the HR department to verify the accuracy of employee information in our systems.
- Propose and execute improvements to payroll workflows to increase precision and efficiency.
- Conduct financial analysis to explain variances and support audit requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in payroll and accounting.
- Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with an ERP system like NetSuite.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working effectively within a global team structure.
