Senior HRIS Analyst

About the role

EarnIn is seeking a Senior HRIS Analyst to manage and improve our Workday platform, focusing on Core HCM and Security. You will design scalable people systems and lead our transition toward AI-enabled, cross-system workflows.

What you'll do

• Own the configuration and optimization of Workday Core HCM and Security frameworks.
• Design and maintain business processes and system controls across the employee lifecycle.
• Manage Workday security architecture, including roles, domains, and permissions.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency between Workday and downstream financial systems.
• Build and maintain advanced reports, dashboards, and calculated fields.
• Partner with Finance, IT, and People teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Develop system documentation and use AI tools to identify logic gaps and accelerate design.
• Troubleshoot system issues and support Workday integrations.
• Lead system enhancements, feature adoption, and testing strategies.

Requirements

• 4+ years of HRIS experience with deep Workday expertise.
• Proven configuration experience in Core HCM and Security.
• Proficiency in Workday Business Process Framework and advanced reporting.
• Ability to partner cross-functionally with People, Finance, and IT departments.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or ChatGPT.
• Strong analytical skills for translating business requirements into technical solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience with Advanced Compensation, Payroll, Talent/Performance modules, or Integrations (EIB, Studio, API).
• Background in global or matrixed organizations.
• Experience supporting major Workday implementations or system transformations.
• Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience designing workflows for the full employment lifecycle.
