Senior Fullstack Software Engineer

About the role

EarnIn provides real-time financial tools to help people manage their money between paychecks without traditional fees or credit checks. We are seeking a senior engineer to join our payroll services team to develop the backend and frontend components of our new time and attendance product.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Architect and construct core features for the time and attendance system.
• Write backend services and APIs using Golang while building frontend interfaces with ReactJS.
• Partner with product managers and designers to execute end-to-end feature delivery.
• Maintain and scale backend microservices supporting our payroll platform.
• Perform root cause analysis on production incidents to improve system stability.
• Review code across the full stack to maintain high quality and adherence to project standards.
• Ensure all software features are delivered according to project schedules.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of professional software development experience.
• Bachelor degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in building web applications with modern backend languages like Go, C#, or Python and frontend frameworks such as React and TypeScript.
• Practical experience with relational databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS.
• Ability to manage infrastructure using configuration as code tools like Terraform, Helm, or Kustomize.
• Experience deploying and operating services within Kubernetes environments.
• Proficiency using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or ChatGPT.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
