What you'll do

• Manage the complete code lifecycle from initial design through development, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with product managers and engage with customers to understand their needs and translate them into user-friendly product features.
• Employ agentic workflows to improve efficiency, speed up development, and maintain high standards of quality.
• Work with a high-performing team to address shared platform challenges and guide colleagues in using AI tools effectively.
• Continuously identify opportunities to enhance engineering practices and processes.
• Participate in on-call duties and lead incident response, utilizing advanced monitoring and debugging tools for system stability.

Requirements

• Proven experience building full-stack applications. Comfort working across the entire technology stack, with a willingness to learn React, TypeScript, Ruby, and .NET/C#.
• Familiarity with both relational and non-relational databases, including query writing and an interest in data model evolution.
• A strong drive for continuous learning and embracing new challenges, technologies, and products.
• A dedication to building reliable systems through comprehensive testing, automation, and proactive monitoring.
• Experience integrating AI tools like LLMs into your daily workflow for research, planning, and implementation.
• Genuine curiosity about customer operations and a desire to let their needs inform technical decisions.
• The ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a results-oriented environment.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in the cannabis sector or with software for Point of Sale (POS), Ecommerce, or Payments systems.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React and TypeScript, or with cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Previous experience introducing AI-assisted workflows or agents to an engineering team.

• Salary range: $107,000 - $143,000.
