Senior Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

DualEntry is building a new operating system for finance, an AI-native ERP that automates accounting for businesses. This role focuses on enhancing the reliability and performance of our core infrastructure. You will contribute to a fast-paced environment, working with a team that values initiative and practical solutions.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Develop and implement new systems
• Improve the stability of existing systems
• Manage and maintain our primary infrastructure using Terraform
• Deploy and enhance the continuous integration and continuous delivery pipeline
• Create monitoring and insights pipelines for systems using OpenTelemetry
• Strengthen security measures and improve the developer experience

Requirements

• Ability to work an on-call schedule
• At least 5 years of experience in roles involving system scalability and improvements
• At least 3 years of experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code
• At least 5 years of experience with AWS
• Strong understanding of backend fundamentals in Python
• Experience with observability tools, specifically OpenTelemetry

Nice to have

• Experience on a project supporting 1 million users or a similar scale
• Practical experience in backend development and system design
• An active GitHub profile
