About the role

DualEntry is building the operating system for finance, automating accounting processes with AI. We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to enhance the stability and performance of our core infrastructure. This role is for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, high-trust environment and are driven to solve complex challenges.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain our primary infrastructure using Terraform.
• Enhance the reliability and efficiency of our systems.
• Build and refine our CI/CD pipelines for smoother deployments.
• Create and manage monitoring and insights pipelines adhering to OpenTelemetry standards.
• Improve both system security and the developer experience.

Requirements

• A strong work ethic and a high degree of personal initiative.
• At least 5 years of experience in roles focused on system scalability and improvements.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• At least 5 years of experience working with AWS services.
• Solid understanding of backend development principles, particularly in Python.
• Demonstrated experience with observability tools and concepts, including OpenTelemetry.
• Familiarity with on-call rotations.

Nice to have

• Experience contributing to at least one project that scaled to over 1 million users or a comparable scale.
• Practical experience in backend development and system architecture design.
• An active presence and contributions on GitHub.
