About the role
DualEntry is building the operating system for finance, automating accounting processes with AI. We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to enhance the stability and performance of our core infrastructure. This role is for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, high-trust environment and are driven to solve complex challenges.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain our primary infrastructure using Terraform.
- Enhance the reliability and efficiency of our systems.
- Build and refine our CI/CD pipelines for smoother deployments.
- Create and manage monitoring and insights pipelines adhering to OpenTelemetry standards.
- Improve both system security and the developer experience.
Requirements
- A strong work ethic and a high degree of personal initiative.
- At least 5 years of experience in roles focused on system scalability and improvements.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
- At least 5 years of experience working with AWS services.
- Solid understanding of backend development principles, particularly in Python.
- Demonstrated experience with observability tools and concepts, including OpenTelemetry.
- Familiarity with on-call rotations.
Nice to have
- Experience contributing to at least one project that scaled to over 1 million users or a comparable scale.
- Practical experience in backend development and system architecture design.
- An active presence and contributions on GitHub.
